Blockchain Ventures Global seeks a Lead Blockchain Developer to oversee all blockchain engineering efforts. You will manage a team of 8-12 engineers, set the technical roadmap, and ensure our digital asset platform meets the highest standards of security and performance.
Our platform handles billions in digital asset transactions for institutional clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities including hiring, performance management, and cross-departmental collaboration with compliance and risk teams.
Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead and grow a team of blockchain engineers across multiple time zones
- Define and execute the blockchain engineering roadmap
- Architect secure custody and trading systems for digital assets
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory requirements
- Report to CTO on technical progress and team performance
Functie-eisen
- 7+ years of software development with 5+ years in blockchain
- 3+ years of engineering management or tech lead experience
- Expert knowledge of blockchain security, custody solutions, and key management
- Experience with Ethereum, Bitcoin, and at least one enterprise blockchain platform
- Strong understanding of financial regulations affecting digital assets
- Excellent leadership, hiring, and mentoring abilities
